For this activity I had to solve this maths question: Let’s imagine that you are given a cactus for your birthday. To keep it alive, you must give it 3 ml of water every day.
Over one full year, how much water will you need to give your cactus plant?
The Answer Is: 1095 ml
I solved it out by doing 3 x how many days of the year which is 365.
3 x 365 = 1095.

ReplyDeleteYou are right with your answer for this activity. Three mils of water a day is not a lot of water but when you add it up over the whole entire year it comes to quite a lot.
Remember to always be able to show your working out. It is always good to be able to show exactly how you worked it out and what method you used.
