Weekend Journal

On Friday my mum's cousin came over for the night. We set up the beds in the living room so that we could all sleep in the same room. I got to hold a sheep's kidneys, which was a first for me.

On Saturday I cleaned out the spear room in just one day, and there was so much in their. I moved everything all by myself, after I cleaned it out I asked mum if she could vacuum the spear room so I could have a break. Then Mum and I moved my bed into the spear room, it was surprisingly really light. After I moved my stuff in it and my bookshelf. That night we watched Mulan because that was the only movie on. After Mulan there was The Simpsons.

On Sunday Night I talked to Breagh about Netball and stuff.

I think highlight of my weekend would have to be my new room.

Weekend Journal

On the weekend I didn't really do anything exciting because everyone was busy in a way. Dad was always on the farm, Mum was cleaning the house and I was planning my birthday party even though it is two weeks and a bit away. I'm planning a simple party, there's going to be games with awesome prizes, a pinata that I made, goody bags with lots of treats and food of course.

On Saturday my little brother and I picked some flowers for our Mum because the flowers looked beautiful and so did the blossom flowers. On Saturday night we made some popcorn and watched some movies.

On Sunday we played outside, around five P.M I decided to try and make some paint out of dye, shaving foam and water but it didn't really work out that much but it did make a nice faded pink. Before I put on the "paint" I put on some tape and made an M. I think overall it turned out pretty good.

On the weekend I didn't get to do much because I had the tummy bug. 

On Friday we all went to town except for Brianna because she wasn't sick and she had to go to school. I think going to town was a bit boring but at least I got food🍦

On Saturday I looked after my siblings and we played some games. It was like a jungle in our house filled with little monkeys jumping around so we watched Madagascar 3 so that my little siblings would be quiet and it worked.

On Sunday me and Brianna cleaned up our room because we wanted to be organised. We had ice cream because we felt like it even though it wasn't hot.

I think overall my weekend was boring, but still fun.

🏑 Hockey Tournament 🏑

Wednesday 1st of August Ruma J went to the Greymouth Westurf Hockey Stadium. We went there so that we could play hockey, we entered two teams and I was in the Lake Brunner Red Team. 

The highlights were we all had fun and it was a new experience for some of us. That's a good thing because it 's fun trying new things.

The low lights are the wind got in the way and it was freezing cold because we had to take our jackets off and people got injured.

Even though my team didn't make it to the finals I still think we did a brilliant job in defending, attacking and scoring goals.

My Weekend Journal

On Saturday I was searching for a new ukulele because I got an inspiration from a AGT winner who played her ukulele, her name is Grace Vanderwaal. While I looked for a ukulele I listened to some of her songs. I went outside and climbed some trees and went on the trampoline.

On Sunday my two year old nephew and my three months old niece came to visit us because we haven't seen them for ages. I taught my nephew how to say his name and potato, he is learning how to count up to ten and say some Filipino words.

I got to hold my baby niece, but then she started crying because she was hungry, when she finished her drink my Mum got to hold her, I tried to make her smile and she did. She was talking to me in her baby talk which was so cute.

Overall I think my weekend was pretty fun and exiting. 😎 

Jurassic World Writing Creation MD & LF

Jurassic World, directed by Colin Trevorrow, is about two brothers Zach and Gray who gets sent to an amusement park for an adventure, instead of a park with rollercoasters and games where you win fun things it has dinosaurs in the zoo like environments for visitors to seek and learn about, the workers put the dinosaurs in their environments so they couldn’t attack the visitors. While the two brothers are at Jurassic World they stay with their aunt Claire for a while. Zach and Gray think they will have a fun time getting to see all the amazing dinosaurs but they don’t know what’s ahead of them.

Jurassic World is both an exciting, adventurous action movie

I like how it’s action packed and thrilling. Every minute is very interesting because there’s heaps of characters that keeps taking risks and you keep wondering in your head are they going to die or survive? The movie really keeps you at the edge of your seat, the  scenery is spectacular and amazing but at the same time weird because there’s blood up on the trees and leaves from the dinosaur’s teeth. In the scene where they go to find the dinosaur, but it makes the scene interesting because if there was no blood up on the trees it would've been boring.

My favourite part is when the dinosaur chases the two brothers into the waterfall. This is my favourite part because when they’re jumping into the waterfall it looks really cool, it makes me want to jump into a waterfall myself. It looks fun when they jump but when the dinosaur comes fun turns to scary because the dinosaur is roaring and looks angry.

I don’t think there’s anything I don’t like about the movie because I practically like everything about it. I like everything because I like action packed movies, dinosaurs and beautiful sceneries.         

I definitely recommend this movie to people who likes action packed movies.

Weekend Journal

On Sunday we went out on the farm and did some sheep work, as usual. I got to ride the bike for a treat and we also got some pine cones for the fire because the house was getting cold.
We couldn't find Maggie ( one of our dogs ) for ages so we decided to go to the shed and guess what she was just lying there on the stones, don't worry she wasn't dead or anything, I think she was just puffed.

Overall I think my weekend was boring and short for me.
